Ruffin Building Systems is an ENERGY STAR® Roof Products Partner.
All of our panels in the following colors, regardless of panel profile, meet
Energy Star performance specifications.
RUFFIN Building Systems offers a choice of both conventional ribbed and standing seam
panels. All of our standard roof
system applications qualify for a UL-90 wind uplift rating.
Conventional Ribbed Panels
Our primary ribbed panel, the "PBR", is a screw-down panel that covers 36
inches, has four major ribs, six minor ribs, and a depth of 1 1/4 inches.
Ruffin’s “PBR” panel is available in 10 standard colors, and is suitable for
use as either a roof or wall covering.
It is our most economical panel and is suitable for most exterior and interior
applications that require strength and rigidity.
The "A" panel has a sloping contour shape with major ribs placed at 12 inches
on-center.Semi-concealed self-drilling fasteners along with the minor rib striations
make this panel ideal for wall, facade, fascia, and other architectural applications.
Standing Seam Panels
Standing seam roofs are attached to the underlying structure primarily by
clips that do not pentrate through the roof membrane. Penetrating fasteners are kept to a minimum, usually required
only at the building’s eave. This
fastening system provides a long-life, maintenance free system, with a minimum
potential for developing leaks due to thermal expansion and contraction of the
underlying building structure.
The RA218 profile consists of a striated pan with 2 inch high vertical
male/female legs. It has a coverage
width of 18 inches. It is available
in the following colors, in 24 ga. thickness.
The RT324 covers 24 inches, and has a striated pan with 3 inch high vertical
male/female legs. This panel is
currently available only in 24 Ga. Galvalume Plus® or Polar White material.
